Nature Culture Environment

This course will explore anthropological and related approaches to the study of humans and their material surroundings. Topics will be addressed such as cross-cultural perspectives on human-animal-plant relations, landscape perception, natural resource conflicts, environmental activism, climate change, and the anthropocene. Prerequisites: One of AN100, AN110, or AN120, or permission of the program.
